Baja 250 - 2007
03/2007 - I personally think that the Baja 250 is the best SCORE race because it is over on one day and you can see the vehicles at least twice if you plan your viewing spots correctly. The 250 usually takes place in San Felipe, MX but this year it was moved at the last minute to Ensenada due to politics. We drove down in time to catch the end of vehicle inspection, after some street tacos we headed further South to a little coastal town of Erendira. We found a camping spot with a Palapa surrounded by farm land and made camp for the night. We spent the rest of the next day a little further North about 15 miles from the finish line. After most of the vehicles past us we had a decision to make either travel against race traffic for 5 miles back to the highway or take the race course the 15 miles to the finish line at the highway. So as the sun was setting we set off on the race course for the last 15 miles pulling over when a race vehicle came up on us!
